Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Gravitas Studio (the “Service”), including our websites, APIs, and mobile applications that we operate. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Gravitas Studio provides tools for studio businesses—such as appointment scheduling, artist and client records, services, metrics, and related workflows—intended to help you operate your studio. Features and availability may vary by platform, region, or plan.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use the Service in compliance with applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

The Service may be offered in tiers (for example Free, Pro, and Team Pro) with different limits. Unless we state otherwise for your account, summary limits include:

• Free: up to 1 active artist; up to 20 appointments per calendar month; up to 20 registered clients; data export not included.
• Pro: up to 1 active artist; no appointment or registered-client limits as described in the product for normal use; data export included where offered.
• Team Pro: up to 10 active artists; no appointment or registered-client limits as described in the product for normal use; data export included where offered.

Paid subscriptions, where available, may be processed by Apple via in-app purchase. When you purchase through Apple, billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s terms and your Apple ID settings. We do not control Apple’s refund policies. To the extent required by applicable law, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not:

• Violate any law or infringe others’ rights;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe, or disrupt systems or other users’ data;
• Upload malware, spam, or misleading content, or use the Service to harass or harm others;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except where permitted by law;
• Circumvent technical limits or billing controls, including plan restrictions.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these rules are violated or the Service is at risk.

You retain rights to the information you submit. You grant us the license necessary to host, process, back up, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the legality of your content and for obtaining any required consents from clients or staff.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred (100) US dollars, except where law requires otherwise.

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post updated Terms with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service or others, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply and cannot be waived.
