Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Gravitas Studio (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy, alongside our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

Account and profile

When you sign up or sign in, we process information such as email address, name or display name, and authentication identifiers. Studios and staff may add operational data such as artist profiles, client contact and booking details, services, appointments, and business notes you choose to store.

Usage and device

We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, coarse logs or diagnostics, and how you interact with the Service (for example session or error events), to keep the Service secure and reliable.

Payments and subscriptions

Purchases made through Apple are processed by Apple. We may receive limited subscription status or transaction metadata from Apple or our subscription management providers (such as RevenueCat) to unlock features and associate your plan with your account—not your full payment card details, which Apple does not share with us in that flow.

Communications

If you email us at support addresses (for example info@bllekholl.com) or receive transactional emails (such as password reset), we process the content of those messages and metadata needed to respond.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users and enforce security and plan limits;
  • Process subscriptions and feature access tied to your studio account;
  • Communicate about the Service, support requests, and policy updates;
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where required, we rely on bases such as: performance of a contract with you; legitimate interests (for example securing the Service and understanding aggregate usage), where not overridden by your rights; consent where we ask for it (such as optional marketing, if offered); and legal obligation.

Sharing and subprocessors

We use trusted service providers to host data, run databases, deliver email, and operate subscription and infrastructure features. They may process information on our instructions and under contractual safeguards. Examples may include cloud hosting and database providers (such as Supabase), subscription status providers (such as RevenueCat), and email delivery providers. We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling data to advertisers for their independent use.

International transfers

We may process data in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where transfers are restricted, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by law.

Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period after deletion.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and device security on your side.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the email below. We may verify your request before responding.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as in-app or by email).
